Edward B. Galante graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1975. A few months later he was admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
He began his practice in the Federal Public Defender’s Office, Southern District of Florida and later joined the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Florida. As an Assistant United States Attorney, he handled civil and criminal cases for the United States.
In late 1980, he left the United States Attorney’s Office for private practice. He moved from Miami to the Treasure Coast and began practicing law in firms, and, for the past twenty years, as a sole practitioner concentrating on Family Law.
Prior to graduating from law school, Edward B. Galante also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Pace University, New York and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Long Island University, Brooklyn, New York.
He also has a strong teaching background, having taught at the University of Miami School of Law as an Adjunct and Instructor at Barry University and Dade Community College. After graduating from college, he held a teaching license and taught at La Salle Academy in NewYork, New York.
The teaching background is important compliment to his 36 years of legal experience because it has given him a skill to break down complex materials and present it so it is easier to understand. The combination of legal and teaching experience he put to good use when he developed information contained on the websites and programs.
Robert C. Hackney has practiced law in South Florida for over three decades. Mr. Hackney’s business law practice includes bankruptcy, real estate workouts, mortgage modifications, short sales, mortgage foreclosure defense, real estate finance transactions, real estate syndications, mergers and acquisitions, and complex real estate and corporate transactions. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mr. Hackney is a member of The Florida Bar, the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. He has lectured and authored several books, including “Florida Bankruptcy Guide,” “The Complete Guide to Mergers & Acquisitions,” “An Insider’s Guide to Non-Bank Business Financing,” “Firesale! Advice on Buying Financially Distressed Companies,” “The 7 Secrets of Successful Real Estate Syndicators,” and “Green Mergers.” Mr. Hackney is the past President of the Rotary Club of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, past President of the Guild of Catholic Lawyers of the Diocese of Palm Beach, and is listed in the Who’s Who Registry. He also serves as Executive Director of the Alternative Energy Association, a Florida non-profit corporation, sits on the Advisory Board for the International Green Technology Center, and is a Director of the Marine Industry Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, Inc., a Florida non-profit corporation, and is listed in Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals.
Joseph Leggio is a versatile information systems professional whose experience spans more than twenty years. His skills and capabilities include information technology consulting, information systems management, software development, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Mylegalselfhelp.com, Mr. Leggio founded Management Information Solutions, a software development and network support organization. He also served as Senior Management Consultant for Superior Consultant Company and as Director of Information Systems for a multi-facility, integrated healthcare delivery system. Mr. Leggio’s educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, as well as the completion of numerous technical and information systems management classes.
Federico D. Sandoval graduated from Rutgers University in 1985 with a concentration in graphic design. He has worked in New York City and South Beach and traveled widely through Europe, North and Central America. In addition, he has taught and lectured in various colleges and universities in the the U.S.
